Welcome to 6th grade! My name is Alison Vroome and I am excited to be your 6th grade school counselor and look forward to supporting and connecting with each of you as you transition through your first year of middle school. Having been a 6th grade teacher for the better part of my career (20 years to be exact), I am very excited for my own transition into this new role as your 6th grade counselor.

I will collaborate with your teachers and other staff to help ensure your first year in middle school is an enjoyable and successful year!  I’m here to support you and make sure your academic and social/emotional needs are being met here at MPMS.

The pictures will help you know a little more about me.  My three girls (yes, my goldendoodle is my child too!) are my greatest blessings.  I'm also a big believer in the power of kindness and the importance of showing concern for others everyday!
